The Barbault Basket is named after french astrologer André Barbault (1921-2019). He is a fascinating astrologer that predicted a few key events including the events of 2020. The basket is in effect now and perfects on July 19th between the outer planets: Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. I also find it fascinating that Chiron sits at the base of this basket and have include it my image and interpretation of the basket. Barbault’s interpretation of the basket is through a Tropical lens and, in my opionion, has value when looking at the societal/matrix layer of our existence. He saw it as a structural turning point for society focused on a splendid relaunch of civilization as resolution to the crisis period of 2020 & 2021. It is a point of choice to participate in the restructuring by choosing between spiritual evolution and technological expansion. He likened the gravity of this turning point toward global restructuring to that of the collapse of the Soviet Union in ‘89.
All of that being said, I wanted to look at this basket from my perspective, through the True Sky lens and folding the Gene Key activations in. This should draw the perspective to the authentic spiritual plane. We’ll step through this starting with my inclusion of Chiron at the bottom of the basket.
Chiron is floating in the space between Pisces and Aries in the true sky and activates the 25th Gene Key: The Myth of the Sacred Wound. As we are collectively facing our spiritual existential wounds we have the choice between the shadow frequency of constriction by remaining either ignorant or cold and the gift frequency of acceptance. As we accept that as a collective we have been grappling with whether or not we deserve to exist this wound transforms and integrates with the expansion of home and family as well as the breakdown of long standing structures.
From here, let’s draw our attention to the opposition of Pluto and Jupiter that forms the top of the basket as well as a T Square to Chiron at the base. Pluto in Capricorn represents the breakdown or removal of the long standing structures that do not serve humanity. He activates the 10th Gene Key: Being at Ease. At its shadow frequency, this is experienced as self-obsession via either self-denying or through narcissism. However, the gift frequency gives way to naturalness, the flowering of your authentic self. Surrendering to the breakdown of long standing structures, knowing that this is all a golden link the chain of your good, will allow your naturalness to flourish.
Opposing this is the handsome, benefic Jupiter in Cancer, encouraging us to find the balance between the breakdown of these structures and the expansion of home and family. Growth through emotional connection and abundance through home and family softens the blow of societal structures breaking down. Jupiter activates the 15th Gene Key: The Eternally Flowering Spring. The shadow manifestation here presents as dullness through a feeling of emptiness or extremism. The emotional growth being offered up here may feel quite intense and be coupled with the desire to give up or react with extreme denial. However, at the gift frequency, you slow down and hit the Schumann Resonance, the heartbeat of mother earth, and begin to magnetize the amazing life you are worthy of, to you and your family.
On it’s own, this T square could prove quite intense as we are being called to integrate our spiritual existential wounds with emotional growth through home and family and the loss of the long standing structures we’ve grown accustomed to. However, there is immense support being offered in the background as a new structure is being formed by Uranus and Neptune. Without them, the basket shape would not exist and we would just be dealing with the life lesson of the T Square. Uranus in Taurus directly supports us through Pluto’s destruction and Neptune in Pisces directly supports us through the emotional growth of Jupiter via trines. The sextiles that they each form offer openings for even more support to the situation.
Uranus in Taurus represents the revolutionizing of values and resources through innovation and ultimately authenticity. It activates the 27th Gene Key: Food of the Gods. At the shadow frequency this presents as selfishness via either a self-sacrificing or self-centered approach. However, at the gift frequency, altruism is embraced. What if authentic resources and values are approached from the perspective that what you give in service to humanity comes back to you multiplied and actually improves the whole of the collective, including yourself?
Neptune in Pisces lends a hand from the Divine flow, asking us to trust in that which we cannot control. He activates the key of all keys, the 55th Gene Key: The Dragonfly’s Dream. This is a whole rabbit hole unto itself, that if you feel so called, I encourage you to fall down. This has to do with the 2027 consciousness shift of humanity predicted by the Human Design system. The shadow of this key asks us to face our victim culture as it manifests as victimization through either complaining or blaming. However, the gift and the siddhi (transcendent frequency) are both freedom. Freedom is this ubiquitous word, especially in American culture, that very few people actually embody the meaning of. I find it poetic that I felt called to write this on the 4th of July of America’s 250th year. True freedom is radical personal responsibility, realizing that you are the only person responsible for everything in every moment through the choices you have made leading up to that moment. It is the ability to hold the paradox of the divine flow that you cannot control and the reaction to that flow that you most definitely can control. In this uncertain time, trust the divine flow and take radical responsibility for your reaction to it.
I send blessings to the collective and encourage all to transmute their spiritual existential wounds through the gift of acceptance. You are worthy of existence and are being called to co-create with mother earth. I give thanks for all who surrender to the removal of structures that do not serve humanity as we discover our naturalness. Know that we will all rise to the occasion and form new authentic structures shaped by Divine guidance. I bless the emotional growth that we shall all experience in our homes and with our families and envision a beautiful magnetizing of abundance through this vector. Remember that abundance is a quality and not a quantity. I am inspired by the authentic altruistic expression of future values and resources. Trust in the Divine flow to handle the organization of all of this and trust in yourself to act perfectly with personal responsibility for your role in all of it.
